Common questions

Is the money on bets real?

No. All bets are placed with virtual currency (VC). VC is non-withdrawable and has no cash value. You can buy VC packs from your wallet to top up.

How do signal sales work?

Sellers who maintain a 60%+ win rate over their last 5 settled bets can list a single open bet as a signal for sale for real GBP. Buyers pay through Stripe; sellers receive 70% of the net via Stripe Connect once eligibility checks clear. Signals are informational — buyers receive the bet picks and may choose to act on them externally.

How do I top up virtual currency?

Open your wallet from the side navigation and pick a pack. You'll be redirected to Stripe Checkout to pay. The VC lands in your wallet as soon as Stripe confirms the payment.

How do I become a seller?

Eligibility unlocks automatically once your last-5-bet win rate hits 60% (minimum 3 settled bets). You'll see a banner in the Signals section the moment you qualify. Sellers then onboard with Stripe Connect Express to receive payouts.

My push notifications aren't arriving.

Check three things in this order:

  1. Open the app, go to your profile, and make sure the Push notifications toggle is on.
  2. Open your phone's Settings → BetFrnd → Notifications and confirm OS-level permission is granted.
  3. Sign out and sign back in once to refresh your device token.

If push still doesn't arrive after that, email us with your phone model and OS version.

A bet hasn't settled.

Bets settle automatically once the event finishes and we have an official result from our sports-data provider. For most fixtures this is within minutes; occasionally a result is delayed by the data provider, in which case our worker continues retrying. If a bet has been open for more than 24 hours after the event ended, please email us with the bet ID (visible on the bet detail page).

I want to dispute a signal purchase.

Signals are informational, so disputes are limited to non-delivery (the seller never made their picks visible) and fraud. If you believe one of these applies to your purchase, email us with the signal ID and your purchase ID.

I need to delete my account.

Open your profile and use the Danger Zone → Delete account. We honour deletion requests sent to info@betfrnd.com as well. See our Privacy policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

Can I get a refund on a VC pack?

Virtual currency is non-refundable once credited to your wallet (it has no monetary value). If the payment was made in error or the VC wasn't credited, email us and we'll investigate.

Is gambling allowed where I live?

BetFrndis a virtual-currency signal marketplace, not a real-money gambling product. We require all users to be 18+. Some countries restrict even virtual-currency betting services — it's your responsibility to confirm BetFrnd is permitted where you are.
